About Schönfeld Projects

Since 2018, Schönfeld Gallery adds colour to the Rivoli Building in Brussels. Known as the architectural landmark of the late seventies and located in the heart of the Bascule area, Rivoli consists of around forty spaces, originally with the purpose to house a luxury shopping and dwelling centre. The beauty and magic of this resurrected monument has not escaped on Elie Schönfeld, art collector and founder of Schönfeld Gallery, which found – next to a dozen other art galleries – its place in the Rivoli. The vibrant urban rhythm of Brussels, the proximity of the surrounding galleries and Schönfeld’s penchant for the unconventional and the diverse has turned Shönfeld Gallery in a versatile art space, where work from both young and old, promising and renowned, and national and international artists is exhibited. To enhance its multifaceted nature, Schönfeld cooperates with its neighbouring galleries, resulting in collective openings and events. Moreover, the gallery often goes beyond the Belgian borders by participating in international art fairs and exhibitions.
